Thanks to their aluminium-zinc coating of 350g/m², our gabion baskets feature an extremely high level of protection against corrosion. This corresponds to the minimum useful life of 3,000 h in accordance with the standard salt spray test as per DIN ISO EN 9227 NSS.
The spiral joints with a diameter of 4.5 mm and the spacers with a diameter of 5.0 mm have a tensile strength of 600 to 750 N/mm². Thanks to their aluminium-zinc coating of 350g/m² they offer excellent rust protection. Our spiral joints and spacers are exclusively produced in Germany (corresponds to the minimum useful life of 3,000 h in accordance with the standard salt spray test as per DIN ISO EN 9227 NSS).
