Where to Find Luminous Stone Deposits in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Luminous Stone Deposits are often found in many Caves and Wells in Hyrule and sometimes Sky Archipelagos. You can find Cave entrances usually near the foot of hills, cliffs, and mountains, and Wells are often found in and around villages, towns, and ruins.

Caves and Wells will also be marked on your Purah Pad map upon your first visit so you can easily find your way back to farm more precious minerals after the Luminous Stone Deposits respawn. The deposits can respawn after some time playing in Tears of the Kingdom, so check them every once in a while for a chance at more precious minerals.

Common Locations:

  • Greater Hyrule

Tips for Finding Luminous Stone Deposits

  • Explore caves and crack open any breakable rocks with a blunt weapon or explosive and cut down green vines that block your path, as there are usually goodies on the other side—including a chance to find Luminous Stone Deposits.
  • Snap a photo of a Luminous Stone Deposit with your Purah Pad Camera to add it to your Hyrule Compendium, and then use the Purah Pad ability Sensor+ to sense nearby Deposits while you explore caves and wells.
  • Look out for Blupee, a glowing blue rabbit-like creature that will often lead you to a nearby cave when they spot you.
  • It's good to keep an easily replaceable weapon on hand so that you can Fuse a rock or boulder to it to break open Luminous Stone Deposits without losing durability on your better weapons. Often, Fuseable rocks will be in caves as well.
  • While in caves, keep an eye out for rocks with large cracks in them, as there will often be something good on the other side if you break them down with a blunt weapon or explosive, including Luminous Stone Deposits and other goodies.
  • Beware of Monsters as you explore caves, as they tend to dwell within.
